Official treasure odds per chest
Fortnite Status posted these chances for each chest opened in a normal match:
- Weekly Gold Outfit: 1 in 1,562,500.
- Pirate Shop Access: 1 in 137,500.
- Weekly Vehicle & Decal: 1 in 7,813.
- Weekly Pickaxe or Back Bling: 1 in 568.
- Weekly Jam Track: 1 in 391.
- Weekly Loading Screen: 1 in 272.
- Any Gizmo: 1 in 127.
What Treasure Hours change
Epic says treasure chances stay the same through the day, except during Treasure Hours. It lists boosts for three treasures, and says they may be higher in future sessions:
- Pirate Shop Access: 1.5×, and 2× in the November 7 evening session.
- Weekly Gold Outfit: 7.5×, and 10× in the November 7 evening session.
- Weekly Vehicle & Decal: 10×.
Which chests count?
VGC reports that any chest can give a treasure, including normal, rare, Sprite and buried chests. So you do not need to chase one type. Epic also says that, other than Gizmos, you cannot get the same treasure twice.
This week's rewards
These are the Treasure Hunters chest rewards as far as we can tell. Reported lists come from dataminers rather than Epic. VICE's Week 1 list includes the gold A$AP Rocky Outfit, a Pickaxe, a Loading Screen and a Mercedes-AMG G 63, and Week 2 centers on Lil Uzi Vert. Weekly prizes are expected to change with each Captain's Day.
