What is Captain's Day?
Captain's Day is a recurring update in the Treasure Hunters mini-season. Each one brings a new Captain and adds new weapons, Sprites and more. Epic's post on November 4 described a new Captain sailing in to take over the Stronghold.
Captain's Day schedule
Older guides list Saturdays, but on November 4 Fortnite Status moved Captains to Sundays and Treasure Hours to Saturdays. Hours have only been posted for the first two dates:
- November 1, 9 AM ET: A$AP Rocky.
- November 8, 9 AM ET: Lil Uzi Vert.
- November 12: listed, details not announced.
- November 15: Hatsune Miku and Kasane Teto.
- November 22: Oscar.
What to do on Captain's Day
Three things are worth doing soon after each update:
- Collect the new map fragment.
- Check the treasure chest rewards, as weekly prizes are expected to change.
- Add any new Sprite to your checklist.
Does Captain's Day affect the Pirate Token?
No evidence says it does. Fortnite Status says treasure rates only change during Treasure Hours, which are on Saturdays. See the Pirate Token odds.
