Fortnite Server Status
This reads Epic's public status page every minute and shows Fortnite's servers, including Battle Royale and each mode and any open incident. When Fortnite is down for an update, the time it comes back is the question, so check for scheduled maintenance below.
Updated
When will Fortnite be back up?
If an update is running, Epic usually lists it as maintenance, and it can give an end time in the game or on Fortnite Status. We do not guess a time. If maintenance is listed above, that is your best guide, and this page refreshes on its own.
It says Fortnite is up, but I cannot play
A green status covers Epic's side only. Try these next:
- Restart the game and your device.
- Check your internet connection, and try another network if you can.
- Look for a pending update on your platform.
- Check your platform's own service, such as PlayStation Network or Xbox network.
- Sign in again, and make sure you are on the right Epic account.
Where this data comes from
Everything here comes from Epic's public page at status.epicgames.com. Epic's status can lag behind a problem by a few minutes, so a fresh outage may not appear right away. Our site is unofficial, and for help with your account, contact Epic player support.
