Fortnite Reaction Test

Wait for the panel to turn green, then click or tap as fast as you can. After five rounds, you get your average in milliseconds. Your best score stays in this browser.

How to get an accurate result

Your score includes delay from your screen, mouse and browser, so it is not a pure measure of you:

  • Use the same device and browser, so that your results compare fairly.
  • Close other heavy tabs, and turn on your monitor's game mode if it has one.
  • Take the average of several tests rather than your one best run.

Does reaction time matter in Fortnite?

It helps in close fights, but positioning and knowing what your opponent may do often matter more, because expecting a move gets you there sooner. Use this as a warm-up, along with the edit trainer and the build trainer. The labels on your result are a rough guide, not a medical or scientific measure.

Frequently asked questions

›What is a good reaction time?

Our labels are rough guidance: under 200 ms is very quick, and around 260 to 330 ms is about typical on an ordinary setup. Your hardware affects the number, so compare yourself with your own past results.

›Why did it say too soon?

You pressed before the panel turned green. That round does not count, and you can press again to carry on.

›Does it work on a phone?

Yes, you can tap the panel. Touch screens usually add some delay, so phone and mouse scores are not directly comparable.
