When challenges help
Playing with a limit makes you practise what you normally avoid. Fighting with the first weapon you find teaches you ranges you would skip, and delaying your healing teaches you to take fewer pointless fights.
They also work well for friends' lobbies and streams, where a shared rule gives a losing match something to laugh about. Keep them out of ranked sessions and team games where your squad did not agree to play along.
Make it harder
Once a single rule starts to feel easy, stack them:
- Roll two challenges and play by both.
- Let your squad vote on which of three rolls to keep.
- Combine one with the random drop picker for a fully random start.

No. They are self-imposed rules for fun and practice and are not connected to Fortnite's quests or rewards.
›Can I play them in any mode?
Yes, as long as your teammates agree. Rules about building only make sense in modes that have building.
