Fortnite Item Shop Reset Countdown

The timer counts down to 00:00 UTC, the time the daily item shop has long rotated. It uses your device clock, so it works in any time zone with nothing to set up.

What time is the reset where you live?

00:00 UTC is 7 pm Eastern Standard Time, 4 pm Pacific Standard Time and midnight in London during winter. Daylight saving moves those local times by an hour, while the countdown stays correct because it counts to the UTC moment itself.

When the timer can be wrong

Epic controls the shop and can delay a rotation, for example around maintenance. If the shop has not changed when the timer reaches zero, check the in-game shop and our news page before assuming something is broken on your side.

The countdown also depends on your device clock. A clock that is a few minutes off will show a timer that is a few minutes off.

Before you spend V-Bucks

An item leaving the shop at reset is not a reason to rush. Check that you still want it, and only ever buy V-Bucks through official channels. Our guide to free V-Bucks scams explains what to avoid.

Frequently asked questions

›What time does the Fortnite item shop reset?

The daily rotation has long happened at 00:00 UTC. Epic can change or delay it, so treat the in-game shop as the final word.

›Does the timer show which items are coming?

No. This page only tracks the time. It does not predict or list items.

›Why does my local reset time change during the year?

UTC does not observe daylight saving. When your region changes its clocks, the same UTC moment falls an hour earlier or later on your clock.
