Fortnite compass: the token hoax and the real item
Updated
No compass can find a Pirate Shop Token. Here is the hoax, and what the real compasses do.
Is there a compass that finds the Pirate Shop Token?
No. Beebom reports that Epic warned players about token scams that include a magical compass, and traced the hoax to a video from a Facebook page. VGC also calls the Token Compass belief unfounded. Any site or video selling or showing this item is not telling you the truth. Read the real token odds.
The real compass in Battle Royale
The compass bar at the top of your screen only shows the direction you face. It does not reveal chests. The word brújula that Spanish-speaking players search for means exactly this: a compass.
Crafting a compass in LEGO Fortnite
LEGO Fortnite has a craftable compass, in two versions. Guides list these recipes, which may change with updates:
- Basic Compass: 2 Glass and 1 Wolf Claw, made at a Crafting Bench. It adds a compass bar to your screen.
- Survival Compass: 5 Glass, 1 Sand Claw and 1 Copper Bar, at a Rare Crafting Bench or better. It also shows nearby landmarks.
