How to plan your Battle Pass XP before the season ends

Updated

Measure your real XP pace and find out early if you need to change it.

Start with three numbers

You need your current level, the level you want and the days left in the season. Fortnite shows the first and last in the game. Put them in the XP calculator, which gives you the XP a day you have to average.

Measure your pace instead of guessing

Note your XP before and after a normal session for several days and take the average. Most players overestimate this because they remember their best sessions. Count the days you won't play as well: if you only play on weekends, a daily number has to be spread over those days.

Spend your time where the XP is

The order you play in matters more than total hours:

  • Clear weekly quests before grinding matches, since they usually pay better than match time alone.
  • Finish quests that overlap in a single match, such as ones based on the same location or weapon type.
  • Check the XP rules on any Creative island before relying on it. Epic can change how XP works on islands.

Review it every week

Run the calculator again once a week. The required daily XP rises the longer you fall behind, so a small gap in week two is easy to fix and the same gap in the final week is not. If the number stops being realistic, lower your target to the level holding the rewards you actually want.
